Florida’s vote-by-mail rules have changed—and many Miami-Dade County Democrats are no longer signed up to get a mail ballot in 2026. These are some of our most reliable voters—and unless we reach them, many could be left behind. Your quick, helpful conversations will make a real difference. You can make calls whenever it works for you–anytime between 9am-8pm on Mon-Sat, and 11am-7pm on Sun!  Sign up to be sent all the details and begin making your calls. Training and support provided.

Let's contact Miami-Dade Democrats who were enrolled in Vote by Mail in 2024 but who have not yet re-enrolled for the 2026 election cycle! Many voters are shocked to learn that VBM requests expired at the end of 2024, and are grateful for our instructions about how to re-enroll. This is a real opportunity to move the needle back toward blue by linking voters to a voting method with a proven ability to increase turnout!

Join your fellow Grove Dems and the Miami-Dade Dems for another phone bank. We’ll be calling Democrats who voted by mail in the last election, but have not yet re-enrolled. Last month we reached 438 voters and sent more than 100 vbm re-enrollment links via text. No prior experience necessary and your personal phone number will not be used. It'll be more fun in-person, but a virtual option is available as well.

Hector Mujica is one of Miami-Dade's most promising young Democratic candidates. The son of Venezuelan immigrants, Hector developed a deep sense of compassion and commitment to service, inspired by his father, a pastor. The former head of Americas Philanthropy for Google is well-equipped to address affordability issues in South Florida. His platform includes lowering healthcare and property insurance premiums, a fairer tax structure for middle-class Americans, protecting the Everglades and Florida Bay, and preparing our children for an AI-driven world.

It's time to hit the streets — together. The Miami-Dade Democratic Party is calling on every DEC member, club member, and caucus member to join us for our county-wide Day of Action: All Dems on Doors. This is our moment to show up for our neighbors, listen to our communities, and build the grassroots power we need to win. The Ask is Simple: Commit to knocking 10 doors — and recruit at least one friend, colleague, or fellow Democrat to do the same. This is a Neighborhood Listening Tour targeting Democrats who did not vote in 2024. Our goals are clear: 👂 Listen to voters and understand what matters most to them 📋 Gather valuable data to inform and support our candidates 🗳️ Register unregistered voters in households we visit ✅ Verify and update voter information to keep our rolls active and accurate 🤝 Engage voters early — long before Election Day All canvassers will use MiniVAN, the Miami-Dade Dems' official canvassing app, to log contacts and record data in real time. What's in it for you? Everyone who signs up and completes training will receive a newly branded Miami-Dade Dems t-shirt. And volunteers who complete training and knock at least 10 doors using MiniVAN will be entered to win one of three $50 gift certificates! Want to help lead the effort? Volunteer with the Miami Beach Democratic Club and join our voter outreach efforts. Our Days of Action will be dedicated to re-enrolling voters in Vote By Mail, registering new voters, and our 2026 elections. Starting in February 2026, our Days of Action will take place on the second Sunday and the third Thursday of every month.

Come join the Miami-Dade Democratic Party for a great time engaging with and registering voters at the upcoming two-day International Yoga Day Festival in Miami.  This is the largest yoga festival in Miami, with thousands of attendees. This is an indoor event.  We have lots of shifts to choose from.  Please join us for one or more shifts to help voters be prepared for the critical midterm primaries in August and general election in November.
