Florida’s vote-by-mail rules have changed—and many Miami-Dade County Democrats are no longer signed up to get a mail ballot in 2026. These are some of our most reliable voters—and unless we reach them, many could be left behind. Your quick, helpful conversations will make a real difference. Let's contact Miami-Dade Democrats who were enrolled in Vote by Mail in 2024 but who have not yet re-enrolled for the 2026 election cycle! Many voters are shocked to learn that VBM requests expired at the end of 2024, and are grateful for our instructions about how to re-enroll. This is a real opportunity to move the needle back toward blue by linking voters to a voting method with a proven ability to increase turnout!

Join us INSIDE Duffy's air-conditioned restaurant this month. The patio is fun, but it was 100 degrees on Primary Day, breaking every record!  You canvassed, phone-banked, texted, and sent postcards to more than 3,500 homes. What was our collective impact? We will review how the precincts served by West Miami Democrats performed compared with Miami-Dade County and Florida at large.  Conversational topics: Can Angie Nixon, a progressive, score another major upset against Ashley Moody this November? Eliott Rodriguez's primary win in the HD -27 race suggests not all voters are leaning that far left. And David Jolly can’t help but feeling jolly. Onward and forward to the General Election!  

10 weeks until the general election. The Grove Dems exist first-and-foremost to get-out-the-vote and help Democrats get elected. Summer is over, the slate is set, come out to help strategize the final push to November and sign-up to do the work.
